If you work with a computer especially programming, learn to type properly.

Being able to get information out of your head fast is a great way to remove potential blockages to your thinking.

Aim for at least 80wpm, but over 100wpm is good.

An addition to this, learn a system for editing text that allows you to move around quickly and without much thought. Vim or Emacs type systems allow you to edit text as your thoughts move around. Editing is thinking.
